Voter’s meeting Highlights January 2021

Corbyn Michael Bargmann, son of Chris and Baleigh Bargmann was received into membership by Holy Baptism.

Pastor expressed his concern over the lack of opportunities for personal interaction with us as members and encourages us to use the virtual communication tools to stay in contact when we have any issues we would like to share with him.  He and the joint Board of Elders will be discussing Lenten season worship options and set a schedule soon to be announced via the bulletin.

The 2020 summary Treasurer’s Report was considered.  Reduction in actual expenses resulted in a net receipt over expenses.  We were reminded again that the designation of Thrivent Choice Dollars also contributed to this effort and need to be designated annually by March to not lose this benefit.

The Elders are pleased to be working with Pastor and they wished to thank the members for all doing their part with social distancing and wearing masks so we can continue our worship schedule.

The Trustees reported the pasture rental will be up for renewal.

The School Board reported the students have been in school for in class learning and reminded us the association meeting will be announced soon.

The extra work and time to disinfect for coronavirus protection was considered and increase was approved for the janitor’s pay. The organist’s stipend was also increased.
